2nd day

22/12/2008 Monday (2nd day) 2.19 pm

Hihi
i'm back
We're on the bus.
It's gonna be a 3-hr ride again.
Everyone's resting or slping
but i cant seem to fall aslp
though i didnt really slp well ytd.
Felt warm when i covered myself with the quilt
but without it,
i felt cold.
so it was warm and cold, warm and cold.
couldnt really slp.
i guess the others slept well though.
Buttt,
we're all tireds cos.....
WE WENT SKIING!
oh wells, actually only 4 out of 15 in the grp ski-ed.
the rest didnt cos they had to take care of their kids.
so they were playing snow or this board thingy which the kids sat on it and slide down.
skiing's fun but tiring.
scary.
uncontrollable.
It just goes down and down and i cant stop it.
The only way to stop is to fall.
BUT,
i cant get up after falling!
hahhas!
i've only managed to get up by myself once.
Really tried hard to get up by myself but i cant!
And there are like tonnes of pple on the skiing grd
so i had to keep falling to prevent myself from banging into them
For some moments,
i felt really hot and was perspiring even in the -11degree celsius weather
cos trying to get up needs lotsa strength and energy.
or maybe cos my butt's to heavy,
tt's why i cant get up.
hahhas!
And there were lotsa times when i fell in front of a skiing class (they're having lessons with a teacher)
but they simply ignore me
though they can see tt i'm having a hard time getting up.
so i was behaving like a clown right in front or in between them.
sighs!
embarrassing!
phew no one knows me there!
oh ya!
it's difficult to walk in the ski boots.
i walked like a robot in the ski boots
hahhas!
And, like i've mentioned b4,
the scenary's awesome!
Photos are just not enough to show my frens and dad how beautiful this place is.
You've gotta be here to see it for yourself.
At many times, i felt like i'm filming winter sonata.
hahhas!
really wished tt frens were here with me.
skiing would be real fun with frens!
realise i'm lacking of vocab.
BEAUTIFUL's the only word i can find to describe this place.
it's so beautiful tt i'm writing everything down cos i don wanna forget these moments.
Alrights, i'll continue tonight,
after SPAA.

I'm at this BBQ pork eatery.

Just finished my dinner.

The BBQ pork is real juicy!

Steps to eating BBQ pork are as follow:

1) BBQ the pork

2) When both sides are abt to be fully cooked,cut it into small pieces

3) Take a cut piece of pork and put it in the sauce.

4) Wrap the pork in letture

5) Open your mouth big and wide and put the whole thingy into your mouth at one go

I'm back in the hotel room

We've left the ski resort and are in Miranda Hotel now.

Anws, continuing with the BBQ pork dinner with seaweed soup.

It really tastes much better to eat the BBQ pork wrapped in lettuce than just eating the pork alone.

i dunno why but it just feels that way.

The sensation when the juice from the pork squirt out in your mouth is simply indescribable.

YummY!

As for the seaweed soup,

dallen didnt really like it cos he said it's tasteless

but i think it's quite alrights.

清淡，清淡的

i quite like it.

Also,

there's this cold tofu as one of the side dish today.

i find it really interesting that the koreans have so many different kinds of side dishes for meals.

yep yep that's all for dinner!

it's SPA time!

we went to 泡温泉 before the yummy BBQ pork dinner today.

What an experience it was!

The place's seperated into 3 sections.

1) Females(not wearing anything)

2) Males (not wearing anything)

3) Mixed (swimming costume)

Of course, as Singaporeans, all of us chose the mixed section

First,

Koreans are very particular bout hygiene and such, so it's compulsory to wear swimcaps.

For those who do not have one,

we can rent one.

Next, we went into the changing room.

wow the koreans are so open!

they're okays with walking ard in the changing room unclothed

it's their culture i guess

they're used to it.

i didnt really feel uncomfy being inside too

cos i guess the tourguide's right

what u have i have them too=pp

hahahs!

After changing,

we wanted to find the mixed section cos coming out straight from the changin room was the female section.

We walked past them and opened a door.

OMG!

it's open air!

Freezing!

Rmb?we're in our swimsuit!

and the temp's like negative degrees celsius!!

we hurried ran, opened a few more doors and found some of the groupmates

so we hurried jumped into the 温泉.

wow comfy!

after a while, the guys came running towards us.

they told us tt they've been running abt in the cold in their swimmin trunks cos they couldnt find the place.

i didnt expect the 温泉 to be outdoor.

it's like totally freezing when we're not in the 温泉.

we gotta run from 温泉 to 温泉 in the cold weather if we wanna change.

there were tea, coffee, aromatic therapy etcc.

it's really really comfy sitting inside.

didnt want to get out cos of the freezing weather.

anws,

it's no longer snowing in this part of korea

but it's still freezing cold.

it'll be colder tmr.

sighs.

unglam.but who cares bout image when there's yummy food!hahash=p
