first day=)

heysheys
i'm back from korea
it was quite a fun trip=)
but i'm super upset now
cos we lost one luggage.
and inside contains jess's winter coat
leather gloves which my mum borrowed from her fren
and the 6 coogi BB cream which we took lotsa efforts to find
and my 5 packs of ginseng maskss

along the way,
i penned down some thoughts and how i felt.
it's kinda like a travel journal,
though not exactly.
cos i didnt really write everyday.
infact,
only the first few days la.
ha cos i got too tireds towards the end,
hahhas.
i'm sorta just gonna copy wat i wrote in my lil red notebk while i was there.
and gonna post some pics too
don really have lotsa pics
cos
the pics tt my bro took,
most are blurred!
sighs.
and i realised i look like i'm wearing the same clothes everyday!
hahas!
but heck!
the weather was really coldd.
anws,the time in korea is one hour ahead of singapore's
and the sky turned dark real early.
it's like alr dark at ard 6.30pm
so we go to bed quite early too.

21/12/2008 Sunday (1st day)

I'm lying on a tatami now.
It feels warm and nice as compared to the freezing cold weather outside.
We're staying in a ski resort as we're gg skiing early in the morning tmr!
It's called YongPyong all seasons resort.
It's located at the very northen part of Korea,
and also the coldest part.

Alrights, shall write in chronological order.
We arrived at Seoul, Incheon International Airport at ard 6am,
met the tour guide,Vivien and the rest of the tour group.
The tour guide gave us some time to wash up and to get ready our coats cos
the temp's really low outside.
Next, we headed to our first destination.
It's the place where the korean drama 大长今was filmed.
OMG!
It was freezing coldd.
anws,the temp's at -7degree celsius todayy.
I hurried walked ard,took a few pics and went up the bus.

Then we had mushroom hot pot for lunch.
Woah!
the serving was large!
I ate like 2 bowls of rice!

After lunch, we took a 3 hr bus ride to where we are now,
the ski resort.
It's even colder here and it has started to snow.
OMG!
SNOW!
first time ever in my life have i seen snow.
It's really beautiful!
i.e if we look at it from the inside.
it's another story if we're IN the snow.
hahas!
we took the cable car up to the top of the hill to look at the scenary.
the skiiing area was totally PACKED.
and think those who ski from the really high and steep areas are really cool!
The scenary was real beautiful.
The whole area and even the trees are covered in snow.
The top of the hill is the coldest area of all.
cos it's the top of the hill ma
the wind was blowing really strongly.
mummy didnt even step foot outside.
anws the cable car ride was really long!
argh!

Next, we went to rent our ski costume for tmr
and headed for dinner which was yummy too
but i had no idea wat
It's some fish soup and a dish with pork and sotong.
The fish's quite special.
think it's the specialty in tt area.
it's like salted fish.
just tt we hang salted fish in the sun to dry them
but these fishes are hang in the snow.
I love the side dishes!
we ate alot of it.
anws,
i'm eating ALOT of rice here as compared to the amt i normally eat.
i even have second servings!
wonder if it's cos of the cold weather tt made me feel extremely hungry
or was it cos the food was just too yummy=)
i love korean food!
hahhas!

back at the resort,
i walked ard the place with kor after we've put out luggage in the room.
Saw many young pple with their friends here.
How nice if i could go on a holiday like this with frens too=)
